Rebecca L. Walker joined the Law Office of Kelley Hinsley as an associate attorney in 2016. She practices primarily in the areas of probate administration, wills, trusts, and estate planning. She also works in the areas of real estate, business formation, contract negotiations, and business transactions.
Ms. Walker received her Bachelor of Science in History from Appalachian State University in 2012, where she graduated magna cum laude with university and departmental honors. She went on to law school at the University of Tennessee College of Law. While in law school, Ms. Walker served as Research Editor of the Tennessee Law Review and Executive Editor of the Tennessee Journal of Race, Gender, and Social Justice. She worked as a research assistant for a College of Law professor and as a student attorney in the University of Tennessee Wills Clinic. She also received CALI Excellence awards for legal writing and research. Ms. Walker graduated from the University of Tennessee in 2016 with high honors, ranking in the top ten percent of her graduating class. Since beginning practice, she has been recognized as an American Institute of Legal Advocates Rising Star in Estate Planning.
Ms. Walker is married and lives with her husband, Dan, and dog, Hawk, in Knoxville, Tennessee.
